Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Sigbot (“Sigbot,” “we,” “our,” or “the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including data protection, privacy, and electronic communications laws in your jurisdiction.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you use Sigbot on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. License Grant

Sigbot grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for:

  • Personal use, or
  • Internal business operations

All intellectual property rights remain owned by Sigbot or its licensors.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

  • Fees are billed in advance.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
  • Payments are processed via app stores or payment providers.
  • Refunds follow the provider’s policies.
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Customer Data & Data Protection Roles

You acknowledge that:

  • You are the Data Controller of contact and personal data imported into Sigbot.
  • Sigbot acts as a Data Processor when providing hosting, synchronization, or team services.

You warrant that you have lawful grounds to process all personal data uploaded to the Service under: UK GDPR, EU GDPR, PIPEDA, and applicable anti-spam laws (PECR, CASL).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Sigbot to:

  • Process unlawfully obtained personal data
  • Violate privacy or marketing laws
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Attempt unauthorized system access
  • Distribute malware or harmful code

7. Cloud Infrastructure & Third Parties

Sigbot uses secure third-party infrastructure, including cloud hosting and authentication providers (e.g., Google Firebase). By using cloud-enabled features, you acknowledge:

  • Data may be stored on secure third-party servers.
  • Data may be processed internationally.
  • Processing is subject to our Privacy Policy and data safeguards.

8. Service Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including for security, compliance, or technical updates.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or use the Service unlawfully. Upon termination, your license ends immediately.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for purpose, non-infringement, and data accuracy. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sigbot shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, business, or data, or service interruptions. Liability is limited to fees paid in the prior 12 months. Nothing excludes liability where prohibited by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Sigbot against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your unlawful data processing, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
